We have been informed that a lease agreement exists over the farm. The terms of the agreement are as follow:
- Expiry date: 31 January 2025
- Rental Area: ± 400 hectares
- Annual Rental: R330 per hectare
- Tenant installation: 2 x Solar panels with pump, windmill pipes and water tanks on trailer. The tenant will remove these items once the lease expires.
- The seller will replace the solar pump to be removed by the tenant once the lease expires.
- We do not expect the farm to transfer in the deeds office prior January 2025. Therefore, we do not anticipate that the lease agreement will have any influence on the transaction.
- Should the farm register prior to the lease expiry date, the rental amount will be paid pro-rata to the purchaser.
